Your Opportunity

Join us in making a difference in patient care. We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales and strengthen relationships with Key Distributors and Corporate Accounts across Australia.

Reporting to the Director Channel Surgery and Intervention, in this role you will be pivotal in achieving our annual sales budgets for Key Distributors nationwide across our product range and enhance engagement, brand reputation, and sales growth within the designated Corporate Accounts and State Departments of Health.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance and externally you will engage with distributors, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders within hospital systems.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will-

  • Plan and execute targeted therapy and product campaigns to stimulate demand and support from Key Distributors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to drive sales growth and meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to negotiate and secure contracts with health system accounts.
  • Monitor account performance and prepare annual business reviews to optimise profitability.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our products and services.

About You

Ideally, your background will include:

  • 10+ years of sales, marketing and corporate accounts experience in the medical device industry in Australia
  • Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare industry and distribution networks
  • Proven ability to manage and negotiate contracts with C-suite executives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing distributors in the medical device field
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing budgets
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, healthcare, life sciences)
