Your Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner, with a passion for people and talent development, to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. As an integral member of our HR department, you will collaborate closely with teams, leaders, and stakeholders to enhance organisational effectiveness and promote employee development.

Reporting to the Senior Manager HR, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive HR support, aligning people strategies with business objectives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and talent management.

Your Responsibilities

 In this role you will:

  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the business area, aligning people requirements with development needs.
  • Lead or participate in HR initiatives/projects that align with the HR strategy.
  • Provide guidance on organisational design.
  • Offer HR support, guidance, and compliance expertise to all employees and leaders.
  • Act as the primary HR contact for designated business areas, providing coaching and support.
  • Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver effective communication strategies.
  • Facilitate performance management and talent development initiatives.
  • Lead talent management activities within designated business areas.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and design development programs.
  • Drive performance management processes and succession planning efforts.

 About You

 Ideally, your background will include:

  • Several years of experience in HR roles, with at least 5 years in a similar position.
  • Experience providing HR and employee relations advice in a complex environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and organisational abilities.
